Aluminum Oxide/Alumina (Al2O3)

BPI processes and reclaims alumina from a variety of by-product and manufactured feedstocks. These finished products often can substitute for a more expensive raw material with equivalent quality characteristics. We process aluminum oxides for metallurgical use as slag conditioners and also as feedstocks for refractory products. Our Schenley, New Castle, and Greenville, Pennsylvania plants and our Michigan City, IN plant are all involved in the crushing, sizing and packaging of aluminas for both metallurgical and refractory products. Our Muskogee Oklahoma Sintertec Division has crushing, sizing, calcining and ball milling equipment for the production of specialty aluminas primarily for the refractory industry.
